DeFiner is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Michigan Cryptocurrency Investment Club (MCIC). MCIC is a student-led organization at the University of Michigan dedicated to educating its members about the advantages of cryptocurrency and why they believe it is the currency of the future. With time, they also hope to add an investment fund with a variety of cryptocurrencies that have real-world application. 😎

The DeFiner team wants to give students the opportunity to get involved in the DeFi space by offering internships, providing support, and inviting students to be active participants within the DeFiner ecosystem. University students will be able to use their marketing, design, and operations skills to earn some $FIN and bring DeFiner to the next level. The focus is to bring in every blockchain- and crypto-related student clubs in colleges and universities around the world. 🙌DeFiner at VeeCon 2022

Minnesota was home to an incredible crypto conference—VeeCon 2022. The event is named after Gary Vaynerchuk, the popular internet entrepreneur whose newest venture is in NFTs and other Web 3.0 technologies. 🖼️

Speakers and performers at VeeCon included Snoop Dogg, Mila Kunis, Beeple, Spike Lee, Deepak Chopra, and Minnesota Congressman Tom Emmer—all leading advocates and participants in this new world helping creators of all levels reach new audiences in new ways. 🗣️

Rep. Emmer is an old friend of DeFiner and our content creator (and fellow Minnesotan) Brandon Ferdig. Brandon attended Emmer’s interview presentation at the conference.

"I trust you in this room more than government regulators," he said to the packed house.
He spoke about the role of government in the crypto space, the roadblocks to responsible regulation, and the future he sees. He sees big changes.
"This is the revolution right in front of us," he added to the audience at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN.
"This is not something you can stop. This is not something you can absorb,” he said of government regulators.

“This is something that's going to happen, so let's make sure if happens right here in the United States.” This conclusion brought people to their feet.
